About
WHO K.NEW
WHO K.NEW was founded from a deep passion for helping others—and a belief in the power of technology to make that help more accessible. We’re proud to offer virtual counseling to individuals and couples across the state of Texas. Telehealth allows us to connect with more people, on their schedule, from wherever they feel most comfortable.

There are many reasons people choose virtual therapy—health concerns, remote locations, busy lifestyles, or simply the comfort of not meeting in person. Whatever brings you here, know that this is your space for growth and healing.

This is your refuge, your reset, your safe place. I look forward to meeting you—virtually.

I understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why I take an eclectic approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Attachment Theory—to meet your unique needs.

I believe our life experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others. By exploring your story, we can uncover patterns, shift unhelpful beliefs, and create space for meaningful change.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need help setting realistic and achievable goals—I'm here to support you. Let’s talk.
Meet Your Counselor

Looking for a counselor can feel overwhelming. With so many options, it’s hard to know where to start. So—Welcome! I’m truly glad you’ve found your way here.
I’ve always been someone who finds deep meaning in hearing people’s life stories. I consider it a privilege when someone chooses to share theirs with me. Opening up can be incredibly vulnerable, and I take that responsibility seriously. Creating a safe, nonjudgmental space is not optional—it’s essential. Everyone’s story is unique, and it deserves to be heard with compassion and care.
In sessions, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I also draw from other approaches when they better serve your needs. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and my goal is to support you in the way that works best for you.
A little about me: I’m a big believer in the power of movement, which is why I enjoy running and staying active. I share my home with three high-energy dogs—and one very special cat who won me over. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me outdoors with my husband and family. I truly believe that spending time in nature can do wonders for our mental health.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey—wherever it leads.

Experience
I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. For my practicum, I worked with college students at the University. For almost ten years, I have volunteered at a Christian camp for foster children. It has been the highlight of my year ever since I first volunteered. This has allowed me to gain experience working with foster kids and has grown my passion for helping people.
